Pastor Michael J.T. Fisher

Dr. Fisher has dedicated over 20 years of his life to ministry, accepting his call to preach in 1998 at only 18 years of age. By the age of 25, Dr. Fisher received the mantle, and responsibility as under-shepard of the then Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church. In May 2008, Little Zion entered into fellowship with Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer and the Faithful Central Bible Church. It was at that time that Bishop Ulmer declared that the “Little” in Little Zion no longer fit. As manifestation of that prophetic word, Little Zion’s membership increased and thus Greater Zion Church Family was born. Dr. Fisher uses his passion for the word of God and the expansion of the Kingdom of God to propel every thought, action, and deed. He makes every effort to emphasize the importance of education, and utilizes his influences to affect change in the lives of the congregation, the Greater Los Angeles area, the country, and even abroad. Dr. Fisher’s preaching style is often labeled “real, raw, and relevant.” It is the heart, the mission, the drive, and the motivation of Dr. Michael Fisher to change the world through service to God by way of building a bridge that stretches from the throne of God to the broken lives of his children. Dr. Michael Fisher’s prayer is for the power of God to help us attain the mission that is set before us so many lives might be saved and the people of God will be set on a path of complete deliverance.
